Support Me

Thank you for visiting my personal fundraising page for Dempsey Challenge 2022!

On May 7, 2022, my reason for doing this ride each year was once again fortified. On that day, my dad, Bill, lost his battle with Cancer. We didn’t know about it long, realistically just days. Cancer is nasty and aggressive, and at one point or another will touch all of us in some way, shape, or form. So, for this, my 13th year participating, I will be riding my bicycle 100 miles to support the fantastic Dempsey Center organization.  This year’s ride is dedicated to my late father, Bill.

The Dempsey Center a Maine-based nonprofit organization with locations in Lewiston and South Portland, as well as a virtual Center called Dempsey Connects which provides cancer programs and services for people beyond the borders of Maine.

The Dempsey Center makes life better for people managing the impact of cancer by easing the side effects of cancer through complementary therapies, counseling and other support services for individuals and families.

Please support me in my fundraising efforts by making a donation. Any amount you can give makes a difference!

Every dollar of your donation directly benefits cancer patients, survivors and their families.

If you would like to participate in this years event, as a cyclist or as a runner/walker, please follow the link to join my team, DROP CANCER.  Together we can help make a difference.

Thank you for your support!
